The retreat is part of a significant natural area spread over 380 acres. , the property is at the entrance to the raglan harbour, activities, incl bushwalking, surfing, fishing, kayaking the famous pancake rocks, the access to beach areas, walking 1 or 1 .5 kms. or with the use of an atv 5 seater on site vehicle following a short training exercise, to access shops and cafes you can drive 45 mins or kayak across, water taxi if available for a charge, to access the retreat you can drive 45 mins from raglan on state highway 23, it is a one lane and gravel road in parts , a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended .this takes you through te akau, sheep and cattle station life of the past , atternatively park in raglan enjoy the shops and wonderful cafes and the hosts or the water taxi will greet you at the wharf and ferry you to the other side of the harbour. this is to your waiting transport which will take you to the retreat.this property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties, please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation, guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply, payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. the property will contact you after you book to provide instructions, guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian, managed by a private host

Positive: This property was nothing short of amazing. The architecture was incredible, so ingenious. The home was so well furnished and decorated. The views of the mountains and Sea were incredible. We loved the hot tub at night under the stars. This place is so peaceful, and the hosts were top notch.
